Despite is somewhat pretentious name it is French and not Italian!

This had a lovely fresh, clean, but rich vivid red and purple fruits nose. Pleasant floral characteristics. Especially cherry fruits.

Tremendous purity. Ultra fine and smooth. You could serve on the cool side but too good to actually chill.

This is made by Joseph Henriot one of the great names in Reims, Champagne, which is why in a roundabout way we came to this and also pretty indicative of a safe pair of hands at the helm.
