Bordeaux 2011
The Huntsworth Wine Company is pleased to offer Bordeaux "En Primeur" again this year, just as we have for previous great vintages. As a truly independent wine merchant we are not obliged to offer a specific list of wines or growers and are able to offer a choice selection of wines that offer outstanding quality in the bottle and that represent respective value. The big traditional merchants and brokers will offer most Bordeaux estates but we ruthlessly reduce our recommendations from perhaps a potential 300 wines to, for instance, 75 wines in the phenomenal 2005 Vintage; and to 41 wines in the beautiful left-bank Vintage of 2003; and not a single red wine in 1997.
